Coaching
Coaching is one-on-one and is offered for boards and nonprofit executives. We coach toward clarity, confidence, and action. This service is tailored to the individual and can include interface with a staff person’s supervisor, team or board. Third Sector Group provides strategic counsel in working with the ED/CEO; board interface, training and nurturing; as well as hands-on coaching to assist in working through difficult structural problems within the development function. Capital Campaign Study, Planning, and Implementation
We provide comprehensive capital campaign services including board preparation, advance data gathering, feasibility study, and pre-campaign planning. Depending on feasibility study results and the outcome of advance data gathering, Third Sector Group also provides campaign strategy design, staff/volunteer coaching, and stewardship through the cultivation and solicitation processes.
Fundraising Strategy, Planning, and Implementation
Third Sector Group creates practical fund development programs using well-founded and proven techniques. Programs are customized for the client based on individual capacity with complete respect for current organizational resources and culture.
Fundraising Training
We conduct inspiring ½-day training programs focused on fundamental grant writing, major gift programming, capital campaigns, board development, and strategic restructuring.
Strategic Restructuring
Third Sector Group strives to help nonprofit organizations advance their missions through a thoughtful process of creating powerful partnerships between, and among, organizations. Our principal, Kimberley Sherwood, was a participant in the Strategic Solutions Initiative.
She attended training by LaPiana Consulting to facilitate the process of bringing two or more independent organizations together to establish an ongoing relationship to achieve one of the following:
- Increase administrative efficiency
- Advance mission or programmatic objectives through shared, transferred or combined services, resources or programs
